Industrial bodies carry pressure and vibration together throughout their service life. In gearbox and reducer housings, keeping bearing axes aligned is essential; in pneumatic and hydraulic bodies, it is the tightness of internal channels.
These parts require design, casting and machining to be considered together: stock is left for surfaces to be machined, channel transitions are positioned according to flow direction, and wall thickness is balanced at critical sections.
Pressure bearing bodies are leak tested after machining; sections deemed critical are checked with non destructive methods.
