The quality of a cast part is decided in the die. Designing and building the die in house means that when something goes wrong with the part, the fix does not depend on another company's schedule; revisions happen under the same roof.
Design starts with the technical drawing of the part: parting line, runners and vents, ejector pin layout and cooling circuit are laid out together. Flow simulation makes the risk of air entrapment and cold shuts visible before the die is cut into steel.
Alongside die casting dies, gravity (permanent mould) dies and the inspection gauges and fixtures that verify part dimensions on the line are produced in the same workshop.
